Dr Elizabeth Lai graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Hons) from the National University of Ireland. Her clinical interests include restorative dentistry and oral surgery. She particularly enjoys helping patients restore the function and appearance of their teeth, as well as guiding them through oral surgical procedures that may initially seem daunting.

Dr Elizabeth believes that dentistry should feel less intimidating and more approachable, particularly for patients who may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. She takes a patient-centred approach to care, taking the time to understand each patient’s concerns and needs before discussing their treatment options. Known for her calm, patient and reassuring manner, she prioritises clear communication and creating a comfortable environment where patients feel heard, informed and confident throughout their treatment. She works closely with her patients to develop treatment plans tailored to their individual needs and goals, aiming to ensure that every visit is a positive experience.

Beyond the clinic, Dr Elizabeth is actively involved in community and volunteer dental initiatives. She has participated in dental missions in Cebu, the Philippines, as well as local oral health screening initiatives for older adults. These experiences have allowed her to care for patients from diverse backgrounds and deepened her appreciation of the importance of making dental care accessible and approachable. In her free time, she enjoys staying active through running and Pilates, as well as spending time with family and friends.
